When you attack with an improvised weapon or a thrown weapon, it deals 2d6 damage (unless its normal damage die is higher). Improvised weapons count as martial melee weapons for you.
Additionally, when wearing light or medium armor, you can use your Strength modifier instead of Dexterity to calculate your Armor Class.
If you moved at least 10 feet, you either gain a +5 bonus to the attack’s damage roll (if you chose to make a melee attack and hit) or push the target up to 10 feet away from you.
Whenever you hit with an improvised weapon or a thrown weapon, you deal extra damage equal to your proficiency bonus.
