Yuan-ti are serpent-folk whose scaled bodies and cold, calculating gazes embody both the patience and danger of the serpent. Their presence is unsettling yet captivating, a blend of ancient strength and primal cunning.

Constrictor’s Grasp
Yuan-ti fight with the crushing power of coils and limbs. Their natural talent for grappling makes them relentless hunters, able to seize prey and never let go.

Crushing Coil
Once a victim is ensnared, the serpent’s power becomes merciless. Yuan-ti constrict with immense strength, grinding down their foes with each heartbeat until resistance falters.

Poisonous Blood
The venom of the serpent runs in their veins. Resistant to toxins and lashing out with deadly bursts when pushed to the brink, Yuan-ti embody the lethal promise of their heritage.

Resilient Scales
Their scaled hides are both armor and shield, glimmering with hues of emerald, bronze, or gold. This natural defense allows them to stride into danger without fear, protected by the ancient resilience of their kind.

Constrictor’s Grasp

When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike or melee weapon attack, you may attempt to grapple the target as a bonus action.

Crushing Coil

At the start of your turn, when you are still grappling a creature, you can choose to crush it as a bonus action. The creature takes 2d6 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage.

Poisonous Blood

You have resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws against being poisoned. When you are reduced to 0 HP but not killed outright, you can release a toxic burst. Each creature within 5 feet must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Constitution modifier) or take poison damage equal to your level. This ability recharges on a long rest.

Resilient Scales

You have thick serpent-like scales. When you are not wearing armor, your base AC is 13 + your Strength modifier. You can use a shield with this AC.
