Warforged
Mechanical Nature
Built to endure, Warforged shrug off disease and poison with ease, needing neither food nor breath to survive. Despite their construct form, they are touched by life itself, able to benefit from healing magics that would normally pass through steel and stone.
Integrated Protection
Every Warforged carries armor in their very design. Their reinforced plating offers protection equal to the finest crafted mail, making them natural frontliners who can withstand blows that would fell ordinary mortals.
Built for Success
Arcane design grants them flashes of brilliance when most needed. With subtle precision, a Warforged can push beyond failure, turning a faltering strike or uncertain decision into a decisive success.
Sentry’s Rest
Even in repose, Warforged remain vigilant. Their rest is a silent stillness, eyes dimmed but awareness sharp, always ready to awaken at the slightest disturbance. This tireless watchfulness makes them unmatched guardians of both people and places.
Mechanical Nature
You have resistance to poison damage and immunity to disease, and you have advantage on saving throws against being paralyzed or poisoned. You don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe. In addition, your creator designed you to benefit from several spells that preserve life but that normally don’t affect Constructs: cure wounds, healing word, mass cure wounds, mass healing word, and spare the dying.
Integrated Protection
Your shell provides you a base AC of 15 (your Dexterity modifier doesn’t affect this number). While wearing armor, your shell provides a +1 AC bonus instead, you can apply the shield’s bonus as normal.
Built for Success
You can add a d4 to one attack roll, ability check, or saving throw you make, and you can do so after seeing the d20 roll but before the effects of the roll are resolved.
You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1), or by expending a 1st level or higher spell slot.
Sentry’s Rest
When you take a long rest, you spend at least 8 hours in an inactive, motionless state, instead of sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but you remain conscious.
