Loxodon
Keepers of Tradition
In their communities, Loxodons prize stability and shared wisdom. They gather in councils, meditate in silence, and honor the voices of their elders. History and tradition are not just remembered, but lived, forming the foundation of every choice.
Steadfast and Enduring
Slow to anger but unstoppable once roused, Loxodons embody steady resilience. Their immense frames shield allies, their trunks extend their reach, and their thick hides shrug off blows. They are not reckless, but deliberate — every action considered, every effort sustained.
The Loxodon’s Gift
To adventure with a Loxodon is to march with a living fortress. Their reach holds enemies at bay, their patience steadies allies, and their wisdom guides through uncertainty. They remind their companions that true strength is not in speed or fury, but in the steady march that endures all trials.
Elephant Traits
You gain proficiency in History skill checks, and can use Wisdom instead of Intelligence. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
Natural Armor
While you are not wearing armor, your base AC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. You can still use a shield with this trait.
Guardian’s Reach
Your size and trunk grant you extended reach. Your melee reach increases by 5 feet.
When a creature within your reach targets an ally with an attack, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on that attack.
Trunk Mastery
Your trunk is a natural extension of your body. It functions as an extra limb that can:
- Lift, carry, push, or drag as though it were a hand.
- Manipulate simple objects, open doors, and wield tools.
- Deliver unarmed strikes that deal 1d6 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage.
