Kalashtar
Keepers of Balance
Among their secluded sanctuaries, Kalashtar cultivate harmony between body and spirit. Through meditation and shared visions, they learn to guide communities with wisdom drawn from the dream world. Their rituals preserve balance, weaving fragments of otherworldly insight into mortal tradition.
Dream-Bound Guardians
Kalashtar are resilient against the whispers of madness and the assaults of the mind. They resist psychic harm with ease, and their dream-gifted powers grant them the ability to soothe allies, restore strength, and inspire peace even in the direst moments. To walk beside one is to know both serenity and resolve.
The Kalashtar’s Gift
To adventure with a Kalashtar is to walk with a bridge between worlds. Their visions light paths unseen, their calm words bind the will of their allies, and their dream-born gifts restore hope when all seems lost. They remind their companions that within every dream lies the strength to endure.
Naptime Remedy
Grant allies visions of peace to help revitalize your wounded allies during a short rest. If you or any friendly creatures regain hit points at the end of the short rest by spending one or more Hit Dice, each of those creatures regains an extra 1d6 hit points.
These hit points increase to 1d8 at 5th level, 1d10 at 11th level, and 1d12 at 17th level.
Mental Discipline
You have resistance to psychic damage.
If you would gain psychic resistance from another source, you instead gain advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
Subtle Telepathy
As a bonus action, you can telepathically send a brief message (a single word or short phrase) to a creature you can see within 30 feet. The creature hears the message in your voice.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Sweet Dreams
When you finish a short rest, you can use an action to grant a willing creature within 30 feet the benefits of a long rest. That creature regains hit points and recovers expended resources as if it had taken a full long rest.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, you cannot use this feature on a Kalashtar.
